it’s crazy how immediately colonial most white people sound when they start talking about africa. what’s almost crazier is how they seem to be / are completely unaware until it’s pointed out to them. and then some, if not most, of them have the nerve to act like whoever pointed it out is the problem*.

because there’s nothing more racist in this world than pointing out a white person’s racism.

*alternatively, some might acknowledge that what they said might have been racist, at which point they sulk a little but then go on as if nothing happened because it doesn’t affect or concern them after all.
